Winnie came to Bandung after a painstaking 12-hour ride on Wednesday night.
I was a tad frustrated that she kept changing the time and all but I realise now that she has gone to so much more trouble to meet me and felt bad about being so moody.
We walked around the mall for a while before heading home to my place.
Taking photos on the balcony was so much fun. I never seen such ugly pictures of my face before but it was so candid and so much fun!! haha..
On Thursday we went around my house and then we went to Factory Outlet but didn't manage to buy anything. Then we went to Ciwalk and Sorcerer's Apprentice was showing so we watched that. We had an hour to kill before the movie so we went to karaoke. After the movie we went to PVJ for dinner and we had baked rice and SUSHIII (finally!).
TADAAAAAA..
Then we went to walk around anddd, my brother called, pissed me off and I cried in front of her. She's a very good comforter I guess. And I continued crying while driving home. I can't sleep and ate a lot of snacks at 4am. Then I fell asleep on the sofa arnd 5am and woke up at arnd 8 or 9. We went to BTC and took the travel to JAKARTA!!!
So the start of Jakarta adventure on Friday!
We reched Mangga Dua Square at around 2pm and we had to walk in the blistering hot sun to Mangga Dua ITC because there's where her aunt is picking us up. It was truly an experience we both will never forget. 2 girls walking on the dangerous road without pedestrian walk. Me carrying a backpack and she dragging a small suitcase, we look like tourists! We manage to reach ITC safe and sound though. =)
After going back to Winnie's place, we went out again and explore Grand Indonesia. I love that mall. haha, and we ate Burger King for dinner and it was great. It reminds me of the days we used to eat at McD after school in BHSS. Sweeet memories.. We had Red Mango for dessert.. Growing fond of frozen yoghurt now... Went back and I managed to sleep nicely..
Jakarta Day2, Saturday.
We went to Pantai Mutiara for lunch at Bakmi Sakaw. The place overlook the sea and a few yatchs, it was a great view! Then we went to Pluit Village and walked around. Then Joe came and we went to Pluit Junction for another hour of karaoke. After that we went to Pantai Indah Kapuk to eat Tekko!!! =D Super delicious. After dinner I DROVE Joe's Toyota Yaris which happen to be another manual car to Pantai Mutiara where Winnie's apartment is. ^_^ We tour the place and saw the view from her apartment. After that we went to Oceanic for drinks and that's where I drank Long Island Tea!!! Winnie's drink is even more scandalous --- Screaming Orgasm! That night I got in a bad mood because I felt ignored in the conversation all the way by her cousins. But it's actually just a sign of PMS. =p When we got back I throw a tantrum at her but she handled it very well and that's why I think she's one of the kindest person I ever met. =D
All's well and went back to normal. haha, no awkwardness like Bali at all.
Sunday!! We had Dimsum at Emporium's Imperial Kitchen with her Uncle's family. Then Felix came to fetch us and we went to Central Park to walk around. 3 of us went to Taman Anggrek to eat lunch at Pancious. Yummy!!
Nexttt we went to CHeesecake factory which I was very disappointed in. The cheesecake doesn't taste like cheesecake. =(
Went back and picked up by Joe and went to Kelapa Gading Piazza for wine tasting~ The prices were per bottle and 3 of us was like huh? Total clueless about wine. So we wanted to leave but met Winnie's cousin who happen to be there waiting for 2 of his friends. So her cousin opened a bottle and we 3 have a glass. It was a Germany White wine and I must say it taste nicer compared to the cheap red wine my dad have at home a long time ago.
We then have a late dinner at one of the roadside restaurant and the Soto SUCKS!!
Monday!! Matchmaking day for her and after that we went to Taman Anggrek to meet Edwina. We wanted to ice-skate but I was wearing dress. I told Winnie I'll be alright and I won't fall as long as I don't try to do anything funny. But I got bored and so I tried to speed up and during a turn I don't know somehow I fall, *BAMM* and according to her it was a very hard fall and people around were looking..
The first thing I asked her was "Did anyone stand behind me??" She told me nobody (phew..) and that I close my leg very fast. Ofcoz I did, it would be so embarrasing!!!! >_<
She was very concerned and I told her it's okay, just red here and there. (But actually it was very painful and I was just too embarrassed to say anything). After we skate and we were taking off our skates, I then realise my knee has a very huge bumb and it starts to get blue.. There were also scratches on my hand and legs with blood. Winnie was hysteric but then I asked her, "I know you want to take a picture right?" And she said yes! haha, so here is the picture..
After that we finally met Edwina and we had dinner at Pasta De Waraku. After that we went to a cafe named The Apartment for drinks again.
Edwina had "tiramisu"
Winnie had "Bellini"
and I had "Mojito"
After the alcohol my bumb doesn't throb!! Wow, it was a first experience of alcohol numbing a pain. That night I got a bit tipsy. I bumbed my head in the toilet hand dryer and in the car while getting in. Moreover, I actually took this picture and said it's not blur! hahaha.
I don't understand how I get tipsy, I am a good drinker I swear!! I can too hold my liquor. But that night, before we went to sleep we talk a while as per usual and Winnie said I was high and that they should feed me more alcohol next time.
Last DAY, TUESDAY!!! We went to Senen Jaya to visit Winnie's shop and after that back to ITC to walk around. She went for dinner with her Grandma at the same time my dad fetched me and off I was back home to Bandung.
I guess this trip can rival the one before as the highlight of my longggggg holiday..
I must say.. Jakarta ain't so bad with my dear BFF Winnie around =D Gonna miss her tons and loads but I won't be sad coz I know we're going to meet again and have twice the fun!! Minus my bad mood that is... As long as there's effort, halfway round the world doesn't seem so far! =D
